Face: this is a highly comedogenic oil. It is recommended to use only as a make-up remover then washed with a facial cleanser.
Hair: its high content of lauric acid which has high affinity for hair proteins as well as the oil’s low molecular weight makes it great for both hair and scalp
Body: As the concentration of oil glands is less intense on the body compared to the face, coconut oil is an excellent moisturiser and massage oil, extraordinary scrub if mixed with an equal part of brown sugar, and a quick way to soothe a mosquito bite if mixed with a bit of oatmeal.
