LEMONGRASS EO

Lemongrass essential oil is beneficial for lymphatic drainage, detoxifying, skin health, hair cleansing, lowering cholesterol, lowering fever. It is also a natural deodorizer.  

• Face: add 1 to 2 drops of lemongrass essential oil to your toner and moisturizer to sterilize your pores and strengthen your skin tissues.
• Hair: add a few drops of lemongrass essential oil to your shampoo to deep cleanse your scalp and hair and control excess oils. 
• Body: use diluted for a lymphatic drainage massage, it acts on the lymphatic capillaries and vessels and drains away lymphatic congestion.
• Health: add 20 to 30 drops of lemongrass essential oil to about 150ml of water in a sprayer bottle and use as a natural deodorizer for home and to keep away mosquitoes and ants. Also add a few drops to a cold compress and place on the forehead to reduce fever. Add 1-2 drops to a glass of warm water and drink for 21 days to reduce cholesterol.
• Aromatherapy: diffusing and inhaling 3 to 6 drops of lemongrass essential oil will immediately decrease feelings of anxiety, tension and irritability.
• Precaution: always apply a test on the inner crease of the elbow. Not suitable for children under 5, pregnant and breastfeeding women and those with hypersensitive skin. Never apply undiluted nor on mucous areas (eyes inside nostrils and ears) and open wounds. Do not swallow except if medically advised.
• Dillution  : 0.5 to 5% 
• Shelf life: up to 2 years in a dark cool place
• Spirituality: lemongrass essential oil is associated with repelling negativity, promoting feelings of centeredness and aiding concentration.
