PEPPERMINT EO

Peppermint essential oil has a cooling and refreshing effect that helps stop itching and chronic itching. It is a remedy for irritable bowel syndrome, common cold, migraine attacks, nausea and vomiting. It is also the best essential oil for keeping rodents away.

• Face: 1 drop of peppermint essential oil diluted in 100 ml water or rosewater can be used as an effective toning solution for oily skin .
• Hair: massage to scalp a 3% peppermint essential oil/ water solution daily for 4 weeks for thicker, stronger and longer hair.
• Body: mix a few drops of peppermint essential oil, caraway essential oil with olive oil and massage the stomach and abdomen to treat irritable bowel syndrome; which is a chronic painful condition that causes frequent bouts of diarrhea, constipation or both .
• Health: peppermint essential oil is the number 1 natural rodent repellent, mice and rats can’t stand it. Put a few drops of undiluted peppermint essential oil on tissue and wipe surfaces, don’t throw the tissue away instead place it in the place from where rodents are likely to come in.
• Aromatherapy: to ease nausea and vomiting directly inhale peppermint essential oil from the bottle or place a diluted drop between your nose and upper lip.
• Precaution: always apply a test on the inner crease of the elbow. Not suitable for children under 5, pregnant and breastfeeding women and those with hypersensitive skin. Never apply undiluted nor on mucous areas (eyes inside nostrils and ears) and open wounds. Do not swallow except if medically advised.
